It's the same issue with Win8.1 So this computer and other Asus models can only use Win7 or Win8. Apparently it's some software/hardware issue with the Bios but Asus won't do anything about. Apparently my computer will never support Win10 because of some issue. Now I'm pissed at both Asus and Microsoft. Recovery disks only work on existing hard drive and it recovers partitioned drive. Win7 Home Premium 64-bit (upgradeable to Win10) Only problem is I don't have the original Win7 OS disk but do have recovery disks. Eventhough my computer is 5yrs old the specs are still decent so I'd rather refurbish than buy new. So my laptop stopped working and I'm sure it's my hard drive that died.
